My training was primarily in person-Centred and Psychodynamic therapy but I also have knowledge and experience in Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Systemic work. I am also trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) - a mindfulness based behavioural therapy using acceptance and mindfulness strategies that increases psychological flexibility and encourages an individual to behave in a way consistent to their life values.
I currently work at Off the Record, a young peoples charity, counselling young people ages 11-24. I have also worked at Addiction Support Care Agency (ASCA) for adults with issues around addiction and substance misuse as well as supporting their loved ones.
